Our monthly Pub Trivia gets a Halloween-season makeover with a full night of horror movie questions.

Monthly on every first Thursday

Put your knowledge to the test at Pub Trivia with Charc Roc! Join us on the first Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and creative trivia categories. Bring your family, friends, or teammates, all ages are welcome! Enjoy great drink specials, delicious food, and see if your team has what it takes to claim bragging rights.

With Rochester Candlelight Ghost Walks. Hear haunting tales of Rochester's Prohibition-era 'spirits,' tour the building and The Bradstreet, see ghost-hunting equipment, and hear true tales of Union Tavern's reported ghosts. We are soooo excited to have Chelsey Barry and Mark Cellura play at the Union on the 2nd Monday of the month at 5:30pm! 

Stop in and grab a pumpkin while supplies last. We'll have paints and stencils ready for you to decorate.

Come spend the evening with our friends - the Monroe County Paranormal Investigators - and investigate like a pro! This event takes place on all floors of the building, in the dark, so plan your footwear accordingly.

If you would like to join us for dinner prior, we recommend a 7:30 or 8pm reservation. Please call the restaurant if you are interested in dining with us.

For those who like their books a little darker.

The Dark Pages Society is Union Tavern’s horror book club. A welcoming gathering for readers who love chilling stories, psychological twists, gothic classics, supernatural tales, and everything that keeps you turning pages long after you should have gone to sleep.

Each month, we gather upstairs in The Speakeasy at Union Tavern to discuss our current Society selection, share theories and favorite moments, and decide together where our reading takes us next. Whether you devour the book in a weekend, finish it five minutes before we meet, or occasionally show up with a few chapters left, you’re welcome at the table.

Three gatherings each month: First Monday • Third Monday • Third Wednesday 6:00 PM | Upstairs in The Speakeasy
